Turkey & Mushroom Pockets

Ingredients

 
Pita bread
Cranberry sauce
Mayonnaise
Lettuce leaves
Sliced or shredded leftover cold turkey or chicken.
Button mushrooms (sliced and tossed in a little lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce).
 
Method
 
Prepare pita bread. Spread a little cranberry sauce on one side of the bread and little mayonnaise on the opposite side. Place the turkey or chicken against the sauce and the lettuce against the mayonnaise. Spoon some mushroom mixture into the centre. Stand pockets upright in a basket, ready to serve.
